Terms and Conditions for participation in language courses at Sprachtreff Frankfurt
1. The following terms and conditions are valid at the time of registration per contract agreement for courses at Sprachtreff Frankfurt.
2. One "class hour" equals 45 minutes. Each lesson consists of two 45 minute sessions for a total of 90 minutes per lesson.
3. The minimum number of participants for courses is 3 people (excluding single, tandem or on-site courses). If the number of participants in a course falls below 3, the course length may be proportionately reduced at our discretion.
4. Payment - after the course registration you will receive an invoice and a reservation confirmation after which a deposit is due. The balance is due before beginning of instruction. Payments can be made in cash, bank transfer or direct debit.
4.1 Registration fee: 10 € per person per course.
4.1.1 Registration fee: students with education leave € 25.
4.2 Installments amounting to desire to pay an administrative fee € 20 plus the market rate for each outstanding rate possible.
5. Classes that fall on public holidays will be credited accordingly and the course length extended.
6. Missed class - you are allowed one free sick day per 12 week course, two sick days for high-speed courses over 8 weeks (type 2), and two to three sick days for 2-3 consecutive courses that run from 6 to 9 months. Extended absences may be credited with prior notice upon approval.
7. Flexibility - If you know at the time of registration that you will attend the course irregularly, we recommend a 10 sesson card worth 20 class hours (10 lessons) within a 4-month period to use for any course/days of your choice.
8. Sprachtreff Frankfurt reserves the right to change or combine courses and/or instructors if the minimum number of participants is no longer reached.

9. Cancellation/extension of evening courses (type 1, 2)- if you do not submit a written notice at least three weeks before course end, your contract will be extended automatically. We also require three weeks prior notice for month-to-month extensions.
10. Last minute cancellations – participants enrolled in individual or closed group courses (i.e. participants enrolled together) must cancel/reschedule a minimum of 36 hours prior to the regularly scheduled time. Cancellations made less than 36 hours in advance cannot be cancelled or rescheduled and class time forfeited. You may postpone a course for up to eight months. All course rights expire at the end of the eight month. After six months, Sprachtreff Frankfurt reserves the right to make any necessary price adjustments.
11. Course transfer request (excluding private instruction) must be made in writing (including dates, type of course and target language). A transfer is possible if made a minimum of 6 weeks before the beginning of scheduled course. Thereafter, Sprachtreff Frankfurt reserves the right to add a transfer fee from 15 to 25 euros.
12. Cancellation of booked course(s) should take place immediately in writing. Cancellation fees are as follows (prior to start date):
30 days or more - 15% cancellation fee (minimum 50 euros).
16-30 days- 30% cancellation fee.
8-15 days- 50% cancellation fee.
7 days or less- 75% cancellation fee.
No refund or credits will be given for a no-show at the start of course or if course is prematurely aborted and all monies or remaining class hours are forfeited. The customer is at liberty to prove that little or considerably less damages arose from the required stipulated rate.
13. Discounts - students, pupils, job seekers, as well as, those in job training up to a age of 27 receive a minimum 5% discount on the list price. Discounts and special offers may not be combined.
14.Partial invality - The inefficacy of individual regulations does not entail the inefficacy of the entire contract.
