A hotel in the Lake District is looking for 2 general assistants, one to arrive in April and the other in July and work for six months. They should have Upper Intermediate English plus.
The Waterhead Hotel from Lake Windermere.
The hotel offers 40 hours work per week at £5.73 per hour, breakfast, lunch and dinner supplied and a shared staff room at £31.22 per week.
Your duties will mainly be in the restaurant, working a shift system on rota. You will also help service the conferences.
Pay is monthly and you would need to bring black and white uniform.
2 waiting staff
A hotel outside Hungerford is looking for 2 waiting staff.
They are required to start 14 March and to stay for six months. Applicants must have very good Upper Intermediate or Advanced English. The positions are available for two boys or two girls or a couple. The hotel offers live in shared staff room at £31.22 per week, breakfast and dinner at £13.65 per week, use of most of the hotel's leisure facilities. normal hours are 39 to 45 per week. You would serve 24 guests normally breakfast and dinner. There are opportunities to make and keep good tips.
To get around we suggest buying a second hand bike, hiring a bike from the leisure centre, sharing lifts with other staff who have cars or taxis. It is a 1.5 mile walk to the nearest bus stop and Hungerford is 3 miles away. Once in Hungerford there are great train connection to London, Reading and Newbury.
