Descriptlon of The - Sprachtreff Frankfurt -
type of language courses
TYPE 1. Standard course
This particular (teaching) course has a duration of 12 weeks with two 45 minute hours totalling 24 hours. The evening course offers a choice to start at 17.00 or 19.O0 or 20.30 hours or the the afternoon happy hour course from 16.00 to 17.30 hours
Because of their content of excellent communication methods we selected teaching books of leading German and European. Each class operates structured exercises centred on grammar and vocabulary inclusive of all four learning capabilities as talking, hearing, writing and reading, to be developed. As a general rule 12 to 20 weeks time is necessary to advance from ground level (A1.) to intermediate level (B1 In accordance with our concept end taking the level of the participants into account, we set selective topics for different courses as targets to be attained.
TYPE 2. East Standard Course with 2 sessions a week.
This course is recommended if you want to successfully reach a high standard of knowledge within a very short time. Combining two different courses you get familiarized with how to use the language. During a period of at least 8 weeks you get accustomed to different teachers in combination with courses consisting of topics being colloquially and professionally oriented or of grammar with conversation.
TYPE 3. Happy Hour Afternoon courses.
Should you dispose of some spare time in the afternoon you may attend the standard courses TYPE 1 and TYPE 2 at reduced rates.
TYPE 4. Intensive courses (also as educational-leave)
The clearly structured - Sprachtreff intensive course -guarantees a fast learning process by acquiring and consolidating practical and theoretical capabilities.Within a very short time yon work out a substantial
vocabulary (approximately 50 new words and current idioms a day), by which you become able to master important situations with ease. The selected topic is anchored in communication while special emphasis is :given to correct pronunciation and grammar, simultaneously. With the aim to establish and consolidate .your self confidence when using the language, reality closest adherence is provided by concentrating on hearing, comprehension exercises, drawing e]ements from current
press reports, discussions and short dictations.
Educational Leave: employees have a right to 5 days a year for Educational Leave.
TYPE 4.1. Crash-course during the week-end.
This course of concentrated work is given throughout the week-end. Friday 17.00 - 19.30, Saturday 10.00 - 15.00, Sunday 10.00 - 13.15.
TYPE 5. Individual teaching.
TYPE 5.1. Two-to-One teaching. (Two students - 1 .teacher).
You are the centre of the teaching event. This form of course, following the counselling and classification talk, is the fastest and most effective way to get acquainted with a new language without any problem because of the ideal assemblage and usage of the available teaching material as well as the precise coordination and adaptation to your learning speed,guaranteeing success. Especially recommended when it is hard, to keep up with your agenda and your language knowledge has to be prepared to face a job interview, a presentation or another important occasion, in time. It may frequently occur that you are requested to give your contribution to a specific field in a qualified and skillful way in the chosen language. In such cases especially experienced language trainers impart complex profession-oriented or scientific contents in a very short, time.

TYPE 6. Combination course
We integrate the Type A course with one or two individual classes a week. By combining two diverse learning situations, group and individual training, you improve your progress in the targeted language.
Individual hours help to assess and correct weak learning aspects or provide the opportunity to discuss special themes.(f.e. exams or preparation for a job interview).
TYPE 7. Business English at night.
This course addresses mainly those following a profession in connection with an English speaking international environment.
Mot only do we mediate vocabulary use and communication skills, but also give insight into the English and American way of working. Finally we spread contents taken from important specialized areas as marketing, finance and banking, law, services, negotiating management and others on request.
"Practise the language skills needed at work including letter writing, English on the phone, negotiating, participating in meetings and social English (cross cultural awareness, role plays)."
TYPE 8. Free conversation courses (with 10 tickets)
Whenever you feel like and you have got some spare time to take part in a free conversation evening in your foreign language, then just drop in without announcing yourself. Possibility to practice English, Spanish, French and Italian.
TYPE 9. Speaking party on Friday after work
On every first Friday of a month you can practice your foreign language over a glass of wine or juice with tapas and enjoy an entertaining evening in a relaxed atmosphere. Experienced native sneakers lead the conversation.
TYPE 10. Preparation for internationally validated and recognized
language degrees certificates.
We can register and prepare you by individual training or in the form of two-to-one teaching all year long. Preparation time, starting with intermediate knowledge, is 6 to 12 months. The examination takes place at the VHS, the IHK or at councils or cultural institutes of the countries represented in Germany. Please compare with our DESR language travel catalogue
TYP 11: ln Company courses.
(individual or group training, 2-7 participants)
Especiauy for enterprises we train either groups of employees from a particular department or individuals. Ain and target of the course is in accordance with Company's requirenents and wishes. Usually we combine
average language contents with specific necessities. In this way we are able to i,prove the feeling for the language, pronunciation and heighten its use right at the working place.
